Sangeetha, usually most of the Canon cameras come with the same charger. Perhaps you would like to visit their official Indian website >> http://www.canon.co.in/section/contactus/servicenetwork.jsp

Just select your city and try reaching the retailer/distributor/service centre in your city and ask them about the availability. Pretty sure you can get it from any Canon outlet.

I had bought Canon IXY Digital Camera 25 IS from tokyo one n a half yrs before. Now i have misplaced my charger. I would like to know if the charger for this model is available in India and where. Please reply to my mail ASAP.

I have the same camera
I’m getting nice pics in Daylight

I’m not able to switch to ISO 100.
On my screen there’s always ISO Auto

It was just to take some night shots !

Hi there Sharat,
I bought a ixy25is a year ago when I was in Tokyo and recently have found a problem with it that’s frustrating. All I have is a blank black screen with icons on it! Even when I take a picture I get nothing! I’ve tried pressing the display button and also putting it back to it’s default settings and nothing helps. Can you suggest any thing that will help.

Congrats Saurabh. That’s a good buy. I am pleased that you found the information in here as helpful.
However you should have mentioned what all you got in the package. Camera and user manual plus software is one part. Did you get a case and memory card or probably a tripod in that amount?

Anu, the camera cost me somewhere around 15K INR. However that included the camera case and the 8GB memory card.

Also, the camera was bought from Hong Kong and almost an year back. So i cannot tell you the current price of Canon IXY Digital 25 IS.
