Hi Sharat, thank you for your explanation of the limits. Do you know, whether there is a limit for unfollow? Is it possible to unfollow 500 people and follow 500 in a short time without coming in trouble because of spamming?

Best regards

Thanks for the informative post on Twitter, I often wonder what the limits are and now I know, I try to follow those that I find interesting and if they follow me it's an added bonus, I just hope that my tweets are of interest to someone as well ;)

What an easy to read - informative post - thank you for that. I was trying to figure out the best way to sort those that follow back from those that don't and Twitter Karma sounds wonderful. I was afraid I was going to have to go through it all by hand.

I have only been on Twitter for a little while - and only seriously looking for how to make it work for me for a few weeks. Already I am beginning to make some great contacts. I initially thought of it as a marketing tool - now I am really seeing how I can use it to find people with interests similar to mine - love this making friends in hyperspace :)

Thanks again for this - gonna go now and see what other gems I can find on your site.

In Joy

Too busy twittering or is it something else that keeps you away for two weeks from posting.

<b>Nicole</b>, Did you read my previous post on twitter, titled "<a href="http://www.sharatjaswal.com/2009/03/17/move-on-from-twitter-to-twitter-plus/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Move On From Twitter To Twitter Plus</a>". I wrote about you in that post. Was trying to put in some motivation. But you know what, after 40-50 days of using it, i am beginning to lose interest in it. I check it out and twitter on daily basis, but i don't have many to chat with.

<b>Bipin Gaur</b>, In plain simple terms, "NoFollow Free" and "DoFollow" means the exact same thing. Although i have applied nofollow to particular sets of people who have total comments below a certain number. That way my regular commentators get a do follow and people who make a comment or two, are kept nofollowed.

<b>Chris Prakoso</b>, I am glad i could help mate. Honestly, before finding these facts and figures, i searched twitter doc as well, but couldn't find it. So i searched twitter and asked my friends about it.

CWD, You know what? Twitter is here to stay. So one thing that you can do is advertise your twitter id on the paper bags you use or trucks or any brochures. Include it in your contact address somewhere. That's one thing you can do.

Try to add such a "Twitter Name" that people can understand what you do just by looking at your name. Also use twitter search and look up for "cleaning service" or your "city" and see what twitterers are talking about. Try to understand, analyze their needs and work your way out accordingly. Maybe you can offer discounts or special offers too. Add n follow the twitterers whom you think can be possible clients. Many will follow back. Keep chatting, do place some offers now and then, make your clients talk to their friends about you. That's the way to go.

I'm utilizing Twitter as a marketing tool for my business (cleaning service). Since my client base is local, how do I get followers that fit my client base and how do I turn them into potential customers?

Hi Vince. Thanks for appreciating my blog. About the right side it's all codes and stuff and no plugins. That area is not even widget ready.
The social bookmark area is pretty easy. Just search for social bookmark icons on Google and you will find plenty of such sets of icons. Just link em to your own profile and you are done!

Thanks for bringing up the "contact form captcha error" issue. I'll fix that now! :)

Hey Sharat,
Awesome blog man. Quick question.
On the 'Right' side of your categories, you have all your Network sites IE: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn etc.. What Plugin are you using to have all those Square boxes there?
That's what I wanted to ask you! Keep up the great work and ill see you on Twitter

@VinceCianci

P.S. I tried to send this via your Contact form but it wont work as it doesn't supply a code for the spam box.
