Nunta, i have had those type of emails as well. However this case is somewhat different in few regards. They are not only offering the domain to me but to anyone who is little interested in it. It's available for sale on their site.

Edie, I used to have the .info tld of this domain. Couple of months back i got the .com by normal registration through GoDaddy. I do not have the WhoIs privacy on it. And again, as this domain is available for sale on a website by these guys, the whois protection does not come into play!

This is rather creepy that someone would try and sell you your own licensed property.
Was it up for renewal?
Do you have Whois privacy on it?
I used to get weird renewal things in the mail until I put privacy on my domains.

Yes i know what you mean. Something similar was happeninig to me also, although i was the owner of a domein they wanted to sell it to, and by selling ithey said i will become now a full control user (whatever that mean). Anyway i pass this issue, because i didnt reply to the mail and it seems they left me alone.

Nicole, i have actually seen many people selling useless domains for high prices just based on Pagerank. Once someone buys the domain on that price, there are 99% chances that the domain will lose it's PR in the very next update. So, i mentioned about domain buying tip about PR.

Yes, you should sue the pants of these guys. I too do not see the connection between the post and PR, but why not?
