This post is in continuation to the previous post “Hamilton: The world champion“.

Honestly, the flag, the championship, it all belonged to Felipe Massa. In the last lap, Massa ranked # 1 whereas Hamilton was ranking # 6. The result would have stayed that way for sure. And it was an easy deserving win for Massa. But suddenly for no reason at all, the then ranked # 4 driver “Glock” suddenly slowed down at the final curve. Slowed enough so that Hamilton can overtake him and take position # 5 which then gave Lewis Hamilton the championship.

As soon as Massa crossed the chequered flag, Ferrari crew celebrated and were so excited. But their celebration lived short as after 5 seconds they saw Glock pulling out for Hamilton. They were heartbroken and that’s obvious.

Anyways, i would like to wish good luck to Glock. May you leave Brazil in good health. He probably forgot that he is racing in Massa’s home soil. So wish him good luck!

And Felipe Massa, though i don’t like him, still it was a great effort and congrats for the win.

Lewis Hamilton, well, the whole year was full of dramas like racist abuse, dangerous driving, etc. It would have been a great feeling to win the last race and championship on your own. Anyways, congrats for the controversial win. Yes, you are the youngest world champion of Formula 1. But a loser in the last race!

Formula 1 is all set for a nail biting finish in Sao Paulo, Brazil. It’s the final race today and the stakes are high. The race is so complicated and so much depends on this final race. It is going to be very very exciting.

Lewis Hamilton (McLaren Mercedes)

Lewis Hamilton (McLaren Driver) stands at number 1 in the ranks, followed closely by Ferrari’s Driver, Felipe Massa. Well how close? Too close for anyone’s comfort. The difference only being 7 points. If you are new to this game, here is the thing you should know. The guy who finished first gets 8 point and the guy finishing second gets 7. So putting it simply, if Felipe Massa fails to finish today’s race in top two positions, then it is guaranteed that Lewis Hamilton would win. Lewis has to be in top 7 at least for a clean win. And of course, he is the favorite to win the championship. But you never know how thrilling it could be. Because Felipe Massa has just grabbed pole position in this final race qualifying and what’s even more frightening, well it’s Massa’s home soil. Plus, Hamilton will start from fourth position behind Massa, Jarno Trulli and defending champion plus Massa’s partner,Kimi Raikkonen. (Oucchhh….gives me goosebumps)

Lewis Hamilton is just 23 yrs old. If he wins this championship, he will be crowned as the youngest formula 1 champion.  Others are not going to make it weasy for him. That’s why the race is going to be even more exciting.

BTW, in Constructor Standings, Ferrari has already made it to Rank 1 and it will stay on that position even after the race. Ferrari has 156 points followed by McLaren at 145 and lastly followed by Force India with 0 points

As my friend Sumit Bahl suggested in my previous post “Maruti Swift Dzire – Owned!“i needed to put some better quality pics of my new Swift Dzire. I took the last pictures with my iPhone. So obviously i wasn’t able to get too much quality. But now i clicked some more pics with my Canon IXY Digital 25 IS. No questions regarding the quality this time.

Ha Ha Ha! I got my white Maruti Swift Dzire (Vdi) now! I have been a little late in sharing this news with you all! I finally got my hands on this car on 14th of July. Three days after my birthday. Gosh!!! It was so much waiting for this beautiful car.

Maruti Swift Dzire is one of the best available cars in India, that gives such a great mileage beside being pretty impressive in looks and performance. Other close competitors were Ford Fiesta, which gives almost same average but people have had lot many bad experiences with after sale service, plus it was some 80,000 INR expensive than Maruti Dzire. The only other competitor was Renault Logan. Humm, i have nothing to say about it. It gives 3kms more than Dzire do in a litre of diesel plus it was fairly cheaper in price too, but Bad interiors, Bad exteriors, no modification can easily make it look good. I am talking about the Indian Logan. It badly needs some changes. Anyways….since no other option, i had to go for Dzire. Plus’ i had already waited for 3 months…so i needed it whatsoever.

To those who understand the technical functionalities, Maruti Swift Dzire (Diesel) has a 1.3L Diesel Direct Injection System a.k.a the DDIS Engine. This engine delivers so much performance, fuel efficiency, driving pleasure and durability. And reduced noise and vibration levels is the other important thing. It has a 1248cc engine that delivers 75bhp@4000rpm and maximum torque of 190@2000 along with Turbocharger and Intercooler! 5 Gear shifts, superor drive and low fuel consumption. It’s suppose to give a mileage of 22kms in a litre of diesel. Fot US conversion, i think it should be 84kms a gallon of diesel. It’s body type is known as “Notchback“. The car by default comes with 14″ tubeless JK tires. Umm….That needed a change big time. So i bought good 10 spoke 15″ alloys and got Yokohama’s tires to make my car get a little sporty look. Ofcourse i got Sun Control Fiming on the glasses.

For those who are not into so technical things, you may just want to know the details in one line. It’s a pearl arctic metallic white colored Dzire with black filming and good looking alloys!

The car in question is a Maruti Udyog product named Swift Dzire. From the past few weeks i have been trying hard to buy one for myself. Preference in colors being White or Silver. Everywhere, every agency i have been to, every person from the company i have talked to, they all said that the bookings have been closed. Maximum time of delivery will be 6 to 8 months. Huh? Now this is unbelievable. Just how much demand a car can have?

Earlier, agencies to agencies people said they will get me a Dzire Vdi for an extra 15k bucks premium. Now the premium is 45k. Today, amazingly the replies i got was that the car aint available on any damn amount of premium because there is so much of shortage! So now you know how fast the cars are built at Maruti Udyog Ltd. Production of this car for another 6 months are pending and will definitely increase with each passing day! In other words, i don’t think i am going to get a Dzire Vdi for myself anytime sooner. I really need to get a new car for myself. So just pray for me or do me a favor and get me one somehow!

For those who don’t know much about this car, well it’s not a big machine. It’s pretty good on average and the looks are better than many cars on the Indian road. It’s a real good value for money. That’s the reason i want to go for this car.
