Draught
72 Days and counting? It’s been 72 days since i last made an update to my blog. I realized that it was high time to stop the count. I guess, the last few (unapproved) comments, made me change my mind and come back to my blog to start blogging all over again. Last few comments being questions like “Are you alive?” “Is it a shutdown?” “Are you selling this site?“….etc etc. To answer a few, Yes i am alive and kickin. Slumdog Millionaire
I don’t think i need to introduce the movie “Slumdog Millionaire” to you. Few Oscars awards to it’s name, this movie has been super hit across the globe. I personally believe that’s not entirely true. People here in India do not find the movie too great that it could win an Oscar. A slumdog guy making into riches is not a unique concept. David Lewis of Ashley Falls, Mass. complained to his drill sergeant that he felt very tired and weak but not sick. 24 hrs later, he was dead, killed by what health officials disclosed as “Swine Flu”. Such deadly influenza was last seen in the “Great Plague” of 1918-19 which took almost 20 million lives worldwide. With that disaster in mind, everybody started considering “Swine Flu” as a big scare and epidemic. Apparently, no one could trace where the virus came from back then. Except for Pvt David Lewis, … (Read More)

Philips SHP2700
I have to admit here that this is my first Philips brand device/gadget that i ever purchased. For displays, i have always trusted Samsung. For audio, Sony has been the only choice. And Apple, Nokia and Sony Ericsson do well when i have to look for a cell phone. So Philips never made to my list of favorites ever. However this time around, i went on to shop for audio headphones. As i prefer Sony in this case, i went to the best-est Sony retailer and  asked for a full size audio PC headphones. The only available model was Sony … (Read More)
