44 damn years….where were you Spaniards in all these years?

I have never seen Spain playing so well. Fernando Torres has been one of the exception as i have seen him play great football representing Liverpool team in EPL. And he was the man who scored the one and only goal in the final of Euro Cup 2008. Of course there are other greats like Fabregas (Arsenal), Casillas (Real Madrid) and of course well known Carles Puyol (FC Barcelona).

Honestly, i was backing up Germany in this game. But i am not disappointed because Spaniards played out of their skin, held their nerves, and it was a great football match. They are worthy and truly deserved this title. Well they already defeated Italy (World cup champions) and Russia. And they played great football last night! There were two occasions when i thought a freekick should have been awarded for handball but hey who gives a damn… maybe the result would have been the same.

Spain’s defence was their greatest asset. Even Michael Ballack wasn’t able to get through them. In anycase, he is not in good form since many months. Arggghhh, you spoiled your talent Michael ever since you joined Chelsea… Ha Ha Ha… Long live Manchester Utd.

Anyways, moving back to Euro2008, Spaniards played the best of all and they won the title. For more detailed news, go check some big site else share your views via the comment box!

The car in question is a Maruti Udyog product named Swift Dzire. From the past few weeks i have been trying hard to buy one for myself. Preference in colors being White or Silver. Everywhere, every agency i have been to, every person from the company i have talked to, they all said that the bookings have been closed. Maximum time of delivery will be 6 to 8 months. Huh? Now this is unbelievable. Just how much demand a car can have?

Earlier, agencies to agencies people said they will get me a Dzire Vdi for an extra 15k bucks premium. Now the premium is 45k. Today, amazingly the replies i got was that the car aint available on any damn amount of premium because there is so much of shortage! So now you know how fast the cars are built at Maruti Udyog Ltd. Production of this car for another 6 months are pending and will definitely increase with each passing day! In other words, i don’t think i am going to get a Dzire Vdi for myself anytime sooner. I really need to get a new car for myself. So just pray for me or do me a favor and get me one somehow!

For those who don’t know much about this car, well it’s not a big machine. It’s pretty good on average and the looks are better than many cars on the Indian road. It’s a real good value for money. That’s the reason i want to go for this car.

I have never been much satisfied with Adsense for celebrity sites anyways. Since last 5-6 months Google Adsense has been paying a cent or two for every click i get on my celebrity sites network. Believe me, i have lot of traffic on those sites and i really do get lot of clicks there. An average 100 clicks give me $2.00 only. I mean, this really is insane. Isn’t it? Is that what the advertisers at adwords are really paying for celebrity sites? I feel totally looted here!

Anyways, recently i was browsing my Adsense account and there in those green highlighted pointers it was written that verifying your website via Google Webmaster Tools will help us serve you better. Well, i thought this is it. Much targeted ads, much more money and much better revenue for the celebrity sites. So i readily added and verified all my celebrity websites. So what do you think? Problem solved? Am i earning more now?

Lol Not really. It’s even worse! Now an average 100 clicks give me $0.50 to $0.75. There you are Google Adsense. You really are brilliant with getting much more targeted ads.

My Dear God. Who in the world pays less than 1 cent per click to any advertiser program in the whole wide world?

I checked the ads running on my sites. Just reading the url and opening them in new windows. Each and every site is Made for Adsense (MFA). And they look worse. With absolutely no content. For God sake even blogspot blogs are being advertised by Adsense! Where is the Google TOS of “good landing page” being applied? I just want to ask, why is Google so dumb with their advertisers? And yet they come out brave and merciless when it comes to paid advertising on other sites which we have, by deindexing and banning and PR ripping things. What is it with you Google? Why don’t you get a life? Why can’t you live your own life and let live others their own?

Fact is, Google won’t let you sell advertising on your sites and blah blah blah, because they want people to use Adsense instead. But hey, they will not let you earn with Adsense either. Because they can’t filter MFA’s from their advertiser program.

So there you have it. Google Adsense vs. Celebrity Sites. You clearly know who the winner is! Don’t ruin your life. Get some better publisher advertisement programs on your celebrity sites.

Recently i wrote how good the new wordpress 2.5 was in each and every aspect.  But it has a such a big security issue. Only advance techies noted that. And then of course there was the media library upload issue with wordpress 2.5.

Anyways, with many bigs and problems and reports, Wordpress had to come with a new version and today they launched the new version 2.5.1. Three big bug fixes including the media bug, one major security fix and around 70 other bugs fixed. This is what you will be getting in 2.5.1

I think i read somewhere that they also enhanced performance for Dashboard, writing post,editing comments and widgets administration. Good thing is that new wordpress has the fix for Internet Explorer layouts issues. So probably, this is a much more stable release. And it’s not a rocket science, but you better upgrade your bloggies to this version fast. At least for the security issue sake! Good luck!

It’s been a lot many days since the official Wordpress 2.5 was launched. As and when it was available on my webhost’s fantastico upgrades, i as usual, upgraded one blog immediately. Just to see how the thing were with the new version. To my surprise, this update was not just any usual bug fix or something. It’s a total revamping of the script inside out. The login panel, the design panel, everything has been changed. And i was like Wow!!! wordpress is really up to something this time

Anyways, after browsing all the features, trying out all the different things and heavenly satisfied with the new version, i logged in again to al my 5 webhosts and upgraded all the wordpress blogs that i have to the new 2.5 version! Upgrades very pretty neat and all went smoothly. And i was very very happy about the new wordpress.

Now came the next day and i wanted to start a new blog which is somewhat related to MoBikes. Each and every post is bound to have some pics or few of the talked about motorcycles. So i wrote whole of the content, added the tags and all and then checked the add media which was a wonderful thing. All AJAX and very comfortable. I just selected the pic and clicked on upload….and then this bastard comes up….”Crunching” and next thing you know, the image wasn’t uploaded and there is an HTML error. I tried more times with the same process but would that ever do any difference. No… i saw the same errors again. Anyways, i then went to wordpress support forums and searched for the crunching error and no surprises, as i found two long threads already there. One was a useless discussion of PHP with no one making no progress and heading nowhere. So i closed that thread and went to other thread. In that thread the same problem was discussed. The second reply came from a guy with the weblog “D Technology Weblog”. I think it’s a pretty big blog but honestly been there first time. Anyways, this guy gave the solution to add some code to .htaccess file. I did that and yes it certainly fixed the bug! And now again, Wordpress is a beautiful script. You will love the Media Library and the AJAX upload system. I am glad i found the bug fix. Else i would had to downgrade all the 2.5 versions to whichever lower version that worked best.

Alright, so i hope you don’t get this error but if you do, then you know what you need to fix that bug. If you still can’t fix it with the above method, then may God help you. And hey, there is another method out there to fix this bug, which actually disables your AJAX upload system. Please do not try that and spoil all the beauty of your wordpress admin panel. Good day!
