Since new year, i haven’t been blogging really. Usually i would have said that i am getting a little lazier. But not this time. A week back, i bought a new Apple iPhone. And yes, it’s really cool. All this time, i was busy playing and exploring this cool gadget. It is truly an amazing mobile phone.

iPhone, truly deserves the title that it was given. “Revolution Of the decade”. Or probably it was revolution of the century. I really don’t remember.

I am still getting used to this phone. But there are lot of features which truly amazes me. I really like the zoom in function on images. The ringtones, the videos, the iPod, calling features, etc…everything is really awesome. Yes i truly wished that Apple had put in some more power to speakers. The ringtone volume does not impress me at all. But then we can’t expect having everything in a phone. They have already added to many features in it.

I like you tube videos for a change. For unknown reason, the videos are very clear, unlike the videos as we see via our PC and laptops. The stocks, the weather and the maps, all are pretty good. I can even see Indian stocks in there. So another reason for me to be impressed. Other than that, i think having Gmail in my phone comforts me.

You know what…I can go on and on talking about the features that i see in this phone. But thing is that i am going to stay here. And this iPhone is going to stay here as well. So i can continue to talk about it till i explore it completely.

Hello Everyone!

It’s been a great year 2007. This year will have lot for me to remember. Lot of good and bad memories. Good memories will be cherished later in life, while bad would be forgotten. My websites have been doing great. I liked the way my websites were developed in the year 2007. Specially my Ally web directory. I think i loved 2007 year. Apart from the Google’s penalization and Google’s Pagerank crap, i don’t think there has been any upsets this year around.

For the year 2008, well i will continue to do hard work. More colleagues, more friends, more business and probably few more websites in my armory. I will also make it a point to update this blog, more frequently, with more useful posts 

In the year 2008, i would wish for health, wealth for you and your family. May you all do well in whatever business or studies you are in. God bless you all. And have a Happy, Safe and a prosperous New Year 2008. Take Care!

It’s Christmas! WooHoo!

It’s Christmas Eve!

Expected some great movies this season. Nothing much in Hollywood to talk about. Disappointing really.

By the way, i just watched “I’m Legend” starring Will Smith”. Ummm.. Frankly, it would have been better if they named it “I’m Crap”. It’s a very disappointing movie. A great concept and a great story, totally wasted.

The first half, nearly an hour long. It was terrific. Will Smith and his bitch (Samantha) were terrific in whatever they did, whether it be hunting, racing, playing golf or surviving the nights. I enjoyed the first half. Then i got myself some popcorns and drinks. The second half commenced. A girl shows up from nowhere, to save Will Smith. And then there is a survivors community out there on mountains. Blah Blah Blah….. And suddenly “I’m Legend” is no more alone. Tired of wanting some real action, i finished my drinks and started munching on food n popcorn. And before i could even finish my popcorns, the movie ended. It took just 30 mins for second half to end. And there it was, all of a sudden, the movie became boring, disgusting, disappointing, pointless, and really whatever you can think off. I think the guys rushed a little too much in Movie. They had the time and could have given a better ending. They could have done something to those nasty creatured which they termed “DarkSeekers”. They could have done something to that girl whom Will cured.. or rather was curing. I didn’t even understand why there was a leader among those creatures who continued to bash his head on the glass wall which separated them from Will Smith. I think i would have rather watched “Air Buddies”. I was seriously disappointed with “Whoever Is Legend”.

Moving On….. Well, Just 5 movies playing in nearby hall this Christmas.

Goal : Stars John Abrahim and Arshad Warsi. It’s just an average movie. Probably like what every sports movie ends in. Winning in last minute again.

Jab We Met : That’s one movie i have already watched twice. Full of comedy, full of entertainment. And i guess for the first time, Shahid and Kareena looked great together, on screen. Not to mention that they separated recently, off the screen.

I Am Legend: Says who? Change that name..

Welcome: Looks to be a very promising movie. The previews looks great. Expecting a lot of entetainment from this movie starring Anil Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif among other great names. I’m coming for you baby….tonight

Taare Zameen Par: A movie starring the Mr. Perfectionist, Aamir Khan. The movie has a different and a unique concept. The story resolve around the kids. I haven’t just watched it. But people say that the movie is worth every penny spent. A friend of mine, Sumit Bahl, who is a serious movie critic, says… “Taare Zameen Par was a fantastic movie. It does not deserve anything less than Oscars. And Oscars it shall be.” It was funny how told me that while he was watching, he could regularly hear many girls, parents and children weeping most of the time. I wonder how he was able to control himself, though it was hard to control as he says. I definitely will be going for the movie this week, and would try to post more about it.

Hey, no Christmas movies this year? What’s wrong hollywood and bollywood. I was in mood for some animated movies this Christmas… Anyways, Guys….enjoy the Christmas Eve. Take care and watch movies. Sometimes they are good for you!

17th December’2007. That was the actual date, the day when “Blogging” or “Blog” celebrated it’s 10th birthday.

10 years back, of course there did exist, many online journals and message boards, but nothing like blogs were thought of, until one day, “Jorn Barger” coined the term “Weblog” which described the process of “logging the web” as he surfed. Weblog was combination of words “web” and “logs”. But us, the online community in those years, were quick to shorten the word “Weblog” into “blog”. And thus was born what i think most of the internet users, know of, early in their childhood.

It is amazing how, Jorn Barger, in December’1997, started posting comments and links, etc on his website “Robot Wisdom”, thus pioneering the weblog. Today, we all do the same thing. Most of us own a blog and we keep blogging the same way. So let’s give credits to the pioneer himself, who changed the internet world, forever.
