Google Pagerank

Goodbye Google PageRank

Goodbye Google PageRankNo it’s not that Google is ending it’s PageRank system. Rather it is the webmaster community that is ending the PageRank system. Today morning, the first thing i did was to remove Google toolbar from my Firefox browser. Also, from now onwards i would support Firefox without Google toolbar. This is being done, so that we all webmasters can enjoy our life. I would never want to see that green bar again in my life. So yes, it’s a goodbye to Google’s pagerank. And i am happy about it.

Google’s new pagerank algorithm has been pathetic. Their new algorithms against paid links and web directories has been disgusting. Their assault on web directories ain’t ending yet. Yesterday, i saw another PR Downgrade. Again on directories. Well, that was enough to spoil my morning. Now i have decided, that i won’t let Google rule my life. I will continue to do hard work on my directories and other site with paid links. That’s my business. That’s how i make my living. And i am not going to let any Google pagerank crap to stop me from making my living.

Advice for my fellow webmasters: Everyone has been effected in one way or the other by the Pagerank system. I have taken a wise step today, by removing that green bar. There are other ways to judge the sites as well and i am going to do just that from now on. I think it’s high time that we stop trusting on Pagerank system and start believing on our own quality of judgment. Say Goodbye to Google Pagerank!!!!

  2. I have the exact same thought s as you do regarding this topic. Lets forget about Google Page rank come one. In all reality what’s more important, the little green bar or developing traffic. Good by Google page rank you’re no longer wanted in the webmaster world 100% so take a hike!

Seriously if I had to choose between hundreds of possible back links to blogengage or a silly little green picture above my website I would go with the back links like anyone else with half a brain would too.

As you already did this morning, I will be doing today as of right now. Good by Google Toolbar! Good Bye 🙂

    Great Article man!

    Cheers,

  3. I believe that Google pagerank is a silly thing to an extent but not being in the know of your own pagerank will only harm you, just don’t take so much notice of it. At the end of the day people are interested in pagerank, whether it’s to gauge the popularity of a site for advertising or just out of plain curiosity.

  4. The opinion’s differ with every individual.
I agree, Google has been taunting the webmasters with their crazy page rank updates

  5. Yeah, that’s the point:start believing on our own quality of judgment (and visitors judgment). Lets back to web nature as high quality information source. Pagerank issue really ruins natural structure of the web for years by let webmasters solely chasing incoming links and forget good content he should provide ..
