Voice Of India, Ishmeet Singh Is No More!
This comes as a shocking news.
The recently chosen voice of India, Ishmeet Singh is no more. 🙁
This 19 year old singer, with such great talent won the Voice of India in November’2007. At the tender age of 19, he became famous all over India because of his lovely melodious voice. He was a true star!
He was in Maldives on a promotional event with some music company. He was swimming in the hotel pool of Male, Maldives, when under unknown mysterious circumstances, he died. News channels says he drowned in the swimming pool but no one knows the exact reason.
Ishmeet Singh, such a young boy with such great talent was truly a gem. He was so much soft spoken, honest, courteous and a handsome boy. He will be truly missed. Rest in peace dear Ishmeet 🙁

Jaz, i wish it was not true.
As per the last news, the hotel’s assistant manager reported that Ishmeet along with some six other boys were swimming in hotel’s children’s swimming pool as none of them knew swimming. But Ishmeet went into deeper swimming pool even though he didn’t knew how to swim. He drowned right in there. Even the life guard was off duty!
It’s sad but it’s true!

Very sad news that i heard that night itself. Rest in peace to Ishmeet Singh.
From the news channel i heard its a murder by his uncle, though its just another rumour. A Very Bad news though!
Amit, I didn’t hear about the murder twist anywhere.
But i did read the Maldives Online News. The incident as per the assistant manager of the hotel seemed more realistic than the “Mirch Masala” news channels of India. According to him Ishmeet didn’t knew how to swim and drowned in the deeper pool.
But you can expect anything from the leading Hindi news channels in India!
It was the desire of God. We have lost a emerging diamond who would have been very famous and brought name and fame to the country across the world. May God grant peace to the departed soul!
